Terms of Service

1. The service

lateferry.fm offers (a) a free music library and (b) Late Ferry Studio, a paid service that generates music from your text using the open-source ACE-Step 1.5 model (Apache-2.0). Studio is available to registered users; plans and credits are described on the pricing page.

2. Free library license

Every track in the free library may be downloaded and used in videos, streams, podcasts and client work, including monetized content, free of charge. Credit "Music: Late Ferry — lateferry.fm" in your description. Do not resell or redistribute the files themselves, and do not upload them to streaming platforms as your own. These recordings are not registered with Content ID.

3. Tracks you generate in Studio

You own the tracks you generate with a paid Studio plan, including the right to use them commercially, modify them, resell them and include them in music libraries. Free-plan generations may be used for personal and non-commercial evaluation only. Each generated track comes with a license certificate you can show to your clients. We do not claim ownership of your inputs or outputs.

We do not provide legal indemnity. ACE-Step’s makers state the model was trained on licensed, public-domain and synthetic data; we publish that basis transparently but cannot warrant third-party claims.

4. Credits

Plans grant a monthly number of song credits. One credit is charged only when a generation succeeds; failed generations are never charged. Unused monthly credits expire at the end of each billing period. Previews (beat, instrument mix) and edits are free.

5. Payments and refunds

Subscriptions are billed through our merchant of record, who issues invoices and handles VAT. You may cancel any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. Refunds are issued for unused periods within 14 days of a charge if no credits were consumed in that period, and for any charge caused by our error. Contact us to request one.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to impersonate real artists, generate content that infringes others’ rights, or upload lyrics you do not have the right to use. Do not attempt to overload the service. We may suspend accounts that abuse it.
